The jewelry brand Bohemme was launched in 2010 in Spain (Cordoba), founded by jewelry designer Antonio Espalu Berdud. The name of the brand, which echoes the name of the region of the same name in the Czech Republic, was not chosen by chance. A beautiful legend became the basis for the creation of all brand’s collections.

Pavel Novak was born in Bohemia and spent his first years of life. He received a gift from his father, a precious stone, which he carefully kept for many years. Needing money, the young man gets a job at a stable. His interest in jewelry begins to appear at this time, and he makes simple rings from wire and stones. But even such simple materials do not prevent the products from being interesting and elegant in their own way.

After moving to France, he begins to make train figures. He has regular customers. In Paris, he meets the famous jeweler Monsor Mignot and becomes his apprentice. Having already become quite famous, Paul meets the love of his life – the beautiful Jeanne Nouvel.

When the woman becomes seriously ill, Novak becomes interested in the occult sciences, in which he finds a way to heal his beloved. He makes a special amulet with the very same stone of her late father and Jeanne is cured, while Novak himself drops dead. It is this legend that became the foundation of Bohemme brand philosophy.

The brand’s products are now known far beyond Spain. Boutiques are open in Europe, Latin America, Russia, and Ukraine. Jewelry is made using the latest techniques and materials, but always by hand. Each ring or bracelet keeps a piece of warmth of the jeweler.
