The company is known for its predilection for the most unusual and expensive varieties of pearls, and its founder Michael Hakimian and his family travel around the world each year to find rare colored South Sea pearls that perfectly meet Yoko London’s stringent requirements for size, color and luster.

Yoko London has been designing and making contemporary pearl jewelry for decades. To describe how well the company does it, suffice it to say that several of their works are included in the exhibition devoted to pearls at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, the world’s largest museum dedicated to decorative arts and design.
