The classic palette of medallions with slices of minerals in the four years of the Rose des Vents collection has been thoroughly explored in Dior. Last year it was time for new patterns and motifs. Victoire de Castellane, the creative director of the jewelry direction of the brand, invented Rose Céleste variation – instead of the wind rose she placed stylized images of the sun and the moon.
This year, the duty set of tiny medallions was supplemented by – first of all! – La D de Dior watch. Laconic to the point this dial was decorated with a figurative overlay of the smiling sun. Secondly, now celestial bodies appeared also on the more massive jewelry of the series: an open bracelet and a ring in the form of a horseshoe with a medallion-flip.
