Lapis lazuli, malachite and peacock: watch novelties from Bvlgari

This year the parade of interesting watch novelties is delayed. SIHH Salon de la Haute Horlogerie de Genève will be held not in January but in late April. It will be immediately followed by Baselworld (instead of the usual end of March). Teasers – shining and ticking on all occasions – seem to be shown in March in Paris, which is usually not rich in jewelry news. Some brands already boasted new products at Dubai Watch Week. Very colorful update of the Diva’s Dream collection happened at Bvlgari.

A piercing green African malachite adorns the dial of the repeater model. If you pull the pendant at the seven o’clock marker, a minute repeater (two hammers) with a gentle chime comes into play. The uncomplicated versions are also very good. The one in rose gold gets the 2020-relevant (that’s what Pantone said) blue of first-rate Persian lapis lazuli. A peacock feather was put on the dial for the white gold watch. These novelties in boutiques can be found in the middle of spring.
