Following the first pink collection of high jewelry Dior released the second one – Dior Rose. With this collection the Fashion House celebrates the restoration of its iconic mansion in Paris on the Avenue Montaigne. The building, which is actually the embodiment of Dior history, inspired Victoire de Castellane, responsible for the jewelry of the House for more than 20 years, to create the whole “planet Dior”. And of course, it is impossible to imagine it without roses, Christian Dior’s favorite flowers. In the new collection they appear in different interpretations: more romantic, futuristic, abstract couture and with references to stained glass.
Jewelry with sapphires from Myanmar, Colombian emeralds, rubies from Mozambique, sparkling diamonds and other stones were presented in Chengdu, China, in early June. The dresses for the models, echoing the latest collections of the House, were specially designed by Maria Grazia Curie, the creative director of the Dior women’s line.
